Assassin is a class in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

Gameplay[]

The Assassin has the highest potential stealth attack damage in the game, and his abilities revolve around increasing the potency of his stealth attacks and abilities. His ultimate attack is the only one that increases in damage with more stealth attack damage.

The assassin is the only class to have access to the blowpipe without an additional perk, and the only class besides the Ronin able to use all concussion bombs. Furthermore, the Assassin is the only class able to apply poison to Mongol enemies without additional perks, with the Toxic Vanish Perk. As the Ronin class requires the Ronin Unlock perk to use the blowpipe, the Assassin is also the only enemy able to apply the Hallucination effect on enemies, with both the appropriate perk selected on the Blowpipe as well as with the unique Hysteria perk on the Assassin Charm.

The assassin is the only class capable of executing the fastest assassination attacks in the game (identical to those of Jin in the story mode with the level 3 tanto).

Although the Samurai and Hunter can both aim their ultimate attacks, the Assassin's Shadow Strike is the only ultimate attack which gives the player a significant time period to choose which individual enemy to strike. Furthermore, it is the only melee attack in the game which has range. as the assassin is capable of teleporting across the battlefield to deliver a lethal strike.

The Assassin class represents the legendary Ghost of Tsushima, Jin Sakai.

The Assassin is also the only class able to use the epic rarity Assassin Charm, which grants two unique perks:

Hysteria, which induces the hallucination effect after a successful assassination to all nearby enemies
Chain Vanish, which re-activates invisibility on the assassin for a short period of time after a successful assassination. This allows for a potential three times the assassin can enter invisibility with one class ability activation.
