The Black Wolf (黒犬; Kuroinu) is a slaver of Tsushima who sells his trade to the Mamushi brothers and the Mongol warlord Altan.

Biography[]

The Black Wolf was a human trafficker who had been selling people, including children, as slaves for over 20 years prior to the game's events, with his biggest sellers being the Mamushi brothers. One day, Yuna and Taka (who were children at the time) went to him and asked for his help, the Black Wolf gave them food and drinks, only for him to sell them to the Mamushi brothers who enslaved, abused, tortured, and even implied to have sexually abused them for the next few years until they were able to escape.

During the Mongol's attack on Tsushima, the Black Wolf started working with the Mongol warlord Altan, whom helped him in his slavery.

In present day, after Yuna killed the Mamushi brothers with the help of Jin Sakai, they went to a boat to find and kill the Black Wolf. After killing the Mongols there, the Black Wolf appears and cowardly begs for mercy by saying that Altan forced him into doing his actions, but Yuna doesn't believe his lies, knowing he had been enslaving men, women, and children decades before the Mongols were even in Tsushima.

After remembering Yuna, he taunts her by telling her that it was her fault why she was sold to the Mamushi brothers since she asked for his help, and tells her that Taka was always "his favourite", provoking Yuna into killing the Black Wolf, ending his terror.

Trivia[]

  • Although not confirmed, it's implied that the Black Wolf sexually abused both Yuna and especially Taka when they were children, since he refers to Taka as being as "his favourite".
