Shoots a variety of poisoned darts.
― In-game description.

Blowgun

The blowgun is a ranged weapon that shoots poison and hallucination darts. It is obtained in the story tale "Ghosts from the Past." Initially, the blowgun shoots only poison darts; hallucination darts are obtained in the Yuriko Tale, "The Proud Do Not Endure".

Gameplay[]

This section requires expansion.

The Blowgun's darts are silent on firing and impact, but travels a very limited distance and cannot pierce heavily armored parts and shields. The ammunition for the Blowguns can be gathered from special flowers growing among pampa grass; the purple Wolfsbane for Lethal Poison darts and the orange Spider Lilies for Hallucination dart. these flowers look similar to normal flowers used to trade with merchants but give darts instead of flowers.

Poison Dart[]

Shot by the Blowgun. Passes through armor and poisons enemies.
― In-game description.

Lethal Poison darts kills any enemy that are successfully shot with it, though not instantly. The enemy would have a seizure and gruesomely vomit their own blood before slowly falling down and dying; this process is loud and would easily set nearby enemy alert, but witnessing their poisoned ally slowly dying has a chance of terrifying them. For this reason, Lethal Poison is not exactly an ideal weapon when the player's goal is not to rile up the enemy's base or camp; it functions best to remove the most troublesome enemies while having a chance to make the rest harmless.

Hallucination Dart[]

Shot by the Blowgun. Sends enemies into a violent rage where they attack friend and foe alike.
― In-game description.

Hallucination darts would send the affected enemy into a blind rage and would attack anyone (except hostages, strangely); they gain an increased health pool and attack power for the duration of the effect which can help them slaughter their own brethren to Jin's favor; this doesn't mean these affected enemies wouldn't turn on Jin, however. Hallucination darts can decimate a large number of enemy with minimum effort while maintaining stealth for Jin when used right; Mongol Leaders are the strongest unit in a group by default with one under hallucination being able to kill his entire patrol group with little effort.
