Lady Chiyoko Sakai, born Chiyoko Shimura[1], was the mother of Jin Sakai and wife of Jin's father, Lord Kazumasa Sakai of Clan Sakai. She was also the sister of Lord Shimura. She then sadly passed away from an illness when Jin was only seven years old, which ultimately changed Kazumasa's personality forever and he would walk down a path of pain, sorrow, and regret. Soon, the Butcher of Iki was born.

Gameplay[]

As Jin's father is represented by the Guiding Wind, Lady Sakai is represented by the Golden Songbird, her favorite bird.

Trivia[]

  • As revealed by Jin, she believed that Inari was her son's guardian, as she saw a fox chasing fireflies outside their home the day he was born.
