The Crimson Dye Merchant (Real name: Sao) is a special vendor found in the Iki Island expansion. As his name indicates, he will sells special cosmetics that specialize in red colors for Flowers, just like the normal Merchant. Unlike the similar white and black dye merchants, the crimson merchant must be unlocked by completing the Hidden Cove Tournament in Fune's Refuge.
When first approaching the merchant after unlocking him, he will give Jin Sakai one item for free.
