Fit for the Khan is a side tale that becomes available in Act 3: Kill the Khan as soon as Honor and Ash is completed.
Synopsis[]
A Blacksmith Apprentice requests Jin's help to retrieve an armor set that his master was forced to create for Khotun Khan (Even if the Khan is dead, the Mongols still want the armor as a prize). After fleeing from the Mongols, the Armorer hid two pieces of the armor before he was captured and killed by the Mongols for refusing to tell them location of the other pieces. However, the Mongols still have two pieces of the armor. Jin is tasked with bringing the armor pieces back to the apprentice so the Mongols cannot have the armor and avenge the apprentices master.
Objectives[]
Obtain the Mongol Commander's Armor pieces[]
In general, this quest focuses on liberating four Mongol Territories; two are encampments (General Dogshin's Camp and General Bartu's Camp) that will require the player to Duel a Mongol Warlord at the end (similar to other Mongol leaders such as Dogar and Altan, Water Stance is the most effective against them and the player should be conservative with their Resolve use during the liberation of said camps) and the other two are Villages (Kawachi Whaling Village and Morimae Brewery that will require the player to save hostages from their Mongol Captors.
If the player had liberated all the Mongol Territories beforehand, they can simply talk to the Blacksmith apprentice again and the armor will be theirs.
Speak with the apprentice at Jogaku Temple[]
After retrieving the last armor piece, travel back to Jogaku Temple and speak to the Apprentice. After a short cutscene and dialogue, the Armor will be given to the player.

A blacksmith in Jogaku said the Mongols forced his master to create a set of armor for Khotun Khan. He managed to escape and hide some of the armor pieces across Kamiagata before he was killed, but the Mongols found some others. If I recover all the pieces, I could use this armor myself.
