The Hero of Tsushima Armor set can only be obtained with the purchase of the Digital Deluxe, Special Edition and/or the Collector's Edition. The armor is originally worn by Harunobu Adachi, who was hailed as the best swordsman on Tsushima Island. The armor comes with a matching helmet, a golden mask, a sword kit, along with a saddle and special horse.
As Harunobu is the leader of Clan Adachi, the armor set and its cosmetic upgrades takes heavy inspiration from the Samurai Clan Armor, more specifically the Spring Lion dye. Some notable differences between the two armor sets include the helmet which dons the golden symbol of Clan Adachi at the front, a unique fur cape and notably less flared shoulder pads. Furthermore, the mask which comes along with the armor set bears similarity to Gosaku's visage with a golden base.
This armor set can be upgraded in a NG+ playthrough, however there is no armor dye kits available for this set of armor, similar to the Archery Master's Attire and the Deadly Rival's Attire.
Players can also acquire this armor by upgrading the game to Director's Cut.
In Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the Hero of Tsushima armor is given to the Samurai class as one of its cosmetic body and helmet appearances.

Trivia[]
- The Hero of Tsushima armor is the same armor that Harunobu Adachi wears during the prologue.
- When his full set of armor is worn by Jin (with the Adachi Dragon Mask) a red stain appears where Khotun Khan splashed oil on Lord Adachi.
- This requires NG+ to acquire the “Adachi Dragon Mask” and complete the set
- Harunobu Adachi is never seen wearing the golden mask included in the armor set; he is only seen with the Adachi Half Mask.
- The fur cape is the only cape in the game which does not conceal Jin's bow and quiver.
- The Hero of Tsushima Sword Kit is also used by Kaede, who defends Tadayori's Rest from Jin.
