Judging off what info is shown available to us in the Tale “The other side of Honor” we can assume that Higuchi Served as a samurai for Clan Shimura with the title of lord however was unfortunately killed in the Landing at Komoda beach and had his armor and his horse saddle stolen by the peasant Jinroku
