Izuhara is the southernmost region of Tsushima. It is characterized by lush forests, flowing rivers, and beautiful grasslands. It is bisected by a river that runs from Kaneda Inlet in the north all the way to the River Child's Wetlands in the south. Within Izuhara are seven prefectures: Ariake, Azamo, Hiyoshi, Kashine, Komatsu, Komoda, and Tsutsu.
