The Kunai is one of the ghost weapons used by Jin. It is unlocked by spending one technique point under the Ghost Weapons section of the Techniques menu.
High level Mongol enemies and Mongol Leaders found in random encounters will attempt to utilize these if Jin is in a hard to reach location (such as in deep water) but is in sight of them.
