Lady Chiyoko Sakai[1] was the mother of Jin Sakai and wife of Jin's father, Lord Kazumasa Sakai of Clan Sakai. She was also the sister of Lord Shimura. She then sadly passed away from an illness when Jin was only just seven years old at the time, which ultimately changed Kazumasa's personality forever and he would walk down a path of pain, sorrow and regret. Soon, the butcher of Iki was born.

As with Jin's father and the Guiding Wind, Lady Sakai is represented by the Yellow Songbird, her favorite bird.
Trivia[]
- As revealed by Jin, she believed that Inari was her son's guardian, as she saw a fox chasing fireflies outside their home the day he was born.
