Lady Sanjo is the leader of the safe haven of Umugi Cove, where bandits, ronin and anybody else that complies to her rules is free to live in.
She lives in the main building, on the second floor, where she is guarded by some of her men.
Personality[]
Lady Sanjo is a caring, yet ruthless leader, that strongly cares about the good of her people. She has strict rules applied to the residents of Umugi Cove such as hurting somebody or killing somebody being strictly prohibited on her territory. She is also shown to be merciless with people questioning her, mentioned in the quest The Generosity of Lady Sanjo, where she mentions that the last person to question her had his head impaled on a stick, which can be found outside the main building. In the same quest, she tasks the Ghost with retrieving a map containing the locations of food stores, showing that she truly does care about the well-being of her community. Despite this, due to the freedom of the cove itself, people such as human traffickers enter and affect the community. She also seems to be close with Kenji, who talks to her about the skills of Jin Sakai and gets her to consider him for the job.
Appearance[]
She appears seated in the second floor of the main building of Umugi Cove in front of a boiling pot where she makes tea in. She wears a long kimono, a katana and tanto and has her hair in a hairbun.
