Legend meter
Legend is a measurement of Jin's notoriety as he progresses toward becoming the Ghost of Tsushima. Completing tales in Jin's Journey and Mythic Tales will provide major and moderate legend increases, respectively. Completing Tales of Tsushima, liberating Mongol territory, and doing certain tasks during exploration will provide minor legend increases.
You will progress through several ranks as you increase your legend. Progressing through an individual rank earns you a varying amount of technique points (TP). Attaining a new rank rewards you with an increase to maximum health and, in some cases, an increase to maximum resolve. Early on, a new rank also unlocks a new ghost weapon.
A variant of the Legend meter, called "Legend of the Samurai", is used in Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island as Jin's notoriety of being the Ghost has not spread there.
