The Merchant is a vendor found throughout Tsushima. He must sell cosmetic visuals for armor and weapons in exchange for Flowers.
There are also two (2) specialty merchants in Tsushima: the White Dye Merchant and the Black Dye Merchant. An additional speciality merchant, the Crimson Dye Merchant, is available in the Iki Island expansion.
Description[]
The Merchant is one of the basic vendors that can be found in all Survivor camps, strongholds and other points of refuge. In exchange for Flowers that can be found throughout Tsushima, he will sell to Jin vanity visuals for weapons and armor, including hats. As the player progresses through the game, the Merchant's stock of vanity visuals will increase, with some being locked to Merchants of a specific region.
The first time you meet the Merchant, he offers the player the Traveler's Attire for free, which will help the player explore Tsushima.
The Merchant is easily recognizable for package he carries on his back, which consists of a wooden chest, some baskets, and resources all tightly slung onto a porter backpack. He wears navy blue clothes with a light green jacket. He leans on a wooden staff to help himself support the weight of the package he carries. Next to him will be an assortment of goods he presumably sells, although he will not sell those to the player.
