Omura was a former supplier of Clan Adachi and father to two conspirators of the Adachi massacre.
Biography[]
Omura was a supplier for Clan Adachi until one day, he cheated them out of their supplies and tried to blame Yasunari Adachi for not paying him enough. They did not fall for his excuses, and Omura was cut off from further dealings with Clan Adachi. As a result, his family, including his two sons, ended up the streets and Omura ended up heavily drinking. Sometime before the Mongol Invasion of Tsushima twenty years later, Omura died and was buried outside of Umugi Cove. His two sons were contacted by Lady Hana, who also sought revenge against Clan Adachi and was organizing a conspiracy against them, and offered them a chance to exact revenge for their father. Although one son was against carrying out the slaughter, the other convinced him to accept the offer, as they could use the money to escape Tsushima. The two aided the conspiracy by providing the weapons used to slaughter the Adachi family.
Afterwards, one of Omura's sons decides to blackmail Hana for a large sum of money, threatening to expose their operation if she does not. In a letter sent by Hana, the sons head for Umugi Cove to meet representatives of Hana and collect the money. As the two split up towards Umugi Cove, one son muses to himself of how rich he will become and stops by his father's grave, informing him that he has secured revenge for their family. The sons are unaware that they are being followed by Masako Adachi, who had survived the massacre and recruited Samurai Jin Sakai to help her exact revenge on her family's killers. After meeting up, the sons head toward a beach in Umugi cove. On the way, one son argues with the other about how morally wrong it was to murder the entire Adachi family and expresses worries about Masako, but the other side dismisses his complaints, believing that they will leave Tsushima once the deal is done.
The two sons arrive on Umugi beach to find several more men than they expected. One son is nervous, but the other believes they are just for show. They approach Hana's men and express their hopes that they didn't keep them waiting. Two of the men approach the sons and ask which one of them is Omura. When one son answers the question and asks they have the payment, one of the men replies that they do. Omura's sons are then immediately attacked and slain by Hana's men; Hana had instructed her men to kill them for blackmailing her. Their deaths prevent Masako and Jin from obtaining new information about Hana's conspiracy after they kill the men.
