Twins of Tsuhima are hunted and captured

Severed Hearts is the first story mission of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. It revolves around the ghosts saving the Twins of Tsushima, who have been captured by the Mongols, only to realize that the Oni had harvested the hearts of the Twins.
Chapter 1[]
The legendary ghosts answer the call to save the Twins of Tsushima, who have been captured by the Mongols. The ghosts set out to search for them at a Mongol roadblock, where they find cart tracks, but no sign of the Twins. After defeating the enemies at the roadblock, they found more cart tracks, but no Twins, and realize that they must venture deeper into the forest to find them.

Chapter 2[]
After passing through the gate, the ghosts notice a cart being escorted up the road by Mongol soldiers. The ghosts defeat the Mongols and investigate the cart, only to find fresh, beating hearts, harvested from the Twins of Tsushima. The ghosts set out in the direction of the cart to stop the Mongols.

Chapter 3[]
Gyozen notes that by harvesting the hearts of the twins, pairs of Oni were able to link to each other, sharing each other's life force and being able to revive the other if they were to be downed. The ghosts arrive at a Mongol war camp and defeat the Mongol camps, ridding the camp of the Oni that hunted the Twins. However, Gyozen notes that there is a greater force at play, and the more formidable Onibaba were the ones who created such a link.
