The Black Wolf (Yuna Tale 3 of 4) is a side tale during Act II: Retake Castle Shimura.
Synopsis[]
Yuna confesses to Jin that she had a chance to kill The Black Wolf when she was a child, but couldn't, so now she wants to be the one to kill him. More Mongols stand in their way, however, but they are no match for her and Jin. When they clear the camp, they realize The Black Wolf isn't there, so they try a Mongol ship that is just off the coast. After defeating more Mongol enemies, The Black Wolf shows his face and confesses that Taka was his “favorite,” and tries to make Yuna feel even more guilty by saying he recalls that Yuna brought Taka to him. Yuna confesses her ignorance of what The Black Wolf's true intentions were. Yuna's only solace at this point is knowing that The Black Wolf will never hurt another child again.
Objectives[]
- Speak with Yuna at a campsite near Yoshinaka Bay
- Follow Yuna to a 2nd camp nearby
- Kill the lone Mongol by the fire
- Go to the Mongol camp and defeat the Mongols
- There are about seven (7) enemies here that you can fight however you wish
- Speak with Yuna
- Go to the boat

to sail to the large Mongol ship
- Press
- Defeat the Mongols
- There are six (6) additional Mongol enemies to fight, then watch the cutscene to end the mission.
Journal Entry[]
The Mongol warlord Altan is terrorising Otsuna prefecture. We must draw him out by eliminating his local ally known as the Black Wolf. I'll meet Yuna along the coast, then we'll take down this Black Wolf and force Altan's hand.
