The Ghost of Yarikawa is part of the main story campaign, Jin's Journey, during Act 2: Retake Castle Shimura.
Synopsis[]
The archers have been rescued and all have returned to Yarikawa Stronghold, but the Mongols have finally decided to launch their attack. Breaking through the main gate with their siege weapons, the Mongol soldiers have infiltrated the stronghold and have also opened the second gate on the northern side of the grounds. Jin Sakai, Yuna, Taka and their new allies must fight the Mongols and their leader: General Temuge, a skilled shieldsman.
Objectives[]
- Speak with Taka
- Meet Yuna at the top of the steward's keep
- Follow Yuna to the main gate
- Defend the main gate
- Defend the northern gate
- Reach the Mongol Siege Weapons
- Take the rightmost path and crouch to avoid being seen
- Disable both Mongol Siege Weapons
- Return to Yarikawa Stronghold
- Be aware that enemies will start coming up the path
- Head towards the steward's keep and open the gates
- Defeat General Temuge
- The general is a shieldsman, so use the Water Stance against him
- He can also light his sword on fire, so dodge any red glowing attacks
- If Jin catches on fire, press circle to stop, drop and roll the flames away
- Attack with heavy and light combos or any mythic abilities, pending you have enough Resolve
- Drive the Mongols from Yarikawa Stronghold
- Upon defeating General Temuge, you'll unlock Ghost Mode and will be given a prompt to press L3 and R3 simultaneously. This will allow you to slaughter any remaining Mongols as they attempt to flee the stronghold

Yarikawa Stronghold is under Mongol Siege. Yuna, Taka and I managed to find their missing archers and helped them return home. Now it's time we break the Mongol siege.
