- Sugi is located in a smoldering house within the search area.

| Begin tale | Yamaneko and his raiders have allied with the Mongols and are turning hwachas against their own people. One of their victims told me to seek out Sugi, a woman wearing a red kasa hat who lives in a village to the south. With Sugi's help, I may be able to stop this alliance. |
| End tale | I tracked down Sugi, the woman who can supposedly help me bring down a group of raiders with Mongol weaponry. But as we started to talk, Sugi's village came under attack by Yamaneko's crew—the very raiders we are trying to stop. |
