Yamato is a Japanese musician of Tsushima and a contact of Jin Sakai. He is a storyteller who spreads Mythic Tales across the land.
Character and Personality Traits[]
Yamato seems to be a wise and learned scholar with deep knowledge of old traditional Japanese myths and folklore.
In his conversations with Jin Sakai, he is extremely respectful and humble and can often be seen apologising for actions and statements that displease the former. For example, even when Jin angrily tries to dismiss Yamato's attempts to persuade him that Kojiro of the Six Blades is still alive in their era as a ghost, Yamato remains ever-respectful and tries his best to successfully convince him.
While he is usually reserved and retains his composure, he is often shown to display fear in situations like being cornered by Mongols, and when he was apparently threatened by Kojiro to narrate his tale to The Ghost.
